Tonight Chromatic Aberrations will fill in for the temporarily on hold Rock And Roll Station hosted by Ferrara Brain Pan.Starting things out will be a Christmas mix consisting of Movies,Christmas Specials,Documentaries,and other audio ephemera blended into an auditory nog to be swilled with delight and confusion.
Ending this episode will be the new Scott Walker “Bish Bosh” in it’s entirety and then both discs of the X-TG release “Desertshore/The Final Report”.

Tonight on Chromatic Aberrations it is all about Babble.Nothing but spoken word from sermons,soundbites,talk shows,and other sources run through effects,played backwards,looped,and raw is presented in a chaotic mash of speech.It will either be a glorious Babblefest or a hideous display of speech overload.Imagine if you took 3 or 4 Dr.Hal episodes,a few Nose Hair Lint Glands,and a few books on tape and removed any hint of musical backdrop,and played them all at once.This episode of Chromatic Aberrations dares to do just that.

One of my favorite albums of all time is the first Killing Joke self titled LP,I remember back in High School my “Metal” friends hated this record and would constantly hide it from me(under the big console stereo,chairs,behind bookshelves)just so I could not play it.Not only were they wrong about Killing Joke,but the band outlasted most of the metal bands we listened to back in the day.Tonight we will start things out with the whole album,because I feel like hearing it,then I will throw in some Sunn O))),Whitehouse,Organum,and other stuff for good measure.

Texas gets hot.Really hot,and in the final days of the State Fair it was SO hot that beloved Big Tex,the mascot and overseer of the fair spontaneously combusted,sending people screaming with corn dogs and bacon flavored deep fried bubblegum churning in their guts.

Well,here it is almost November and the Autumn air has finally hit Texas,and the cool temperatures are like an angels breath in the face of Satan…refreshing,but you know it will only be a temporary relief.As for Big Tex,the TMORG will rebuild him and he will once again live to welcome visitors to the fried oddity capital of the world next year.

Tonight we will cherish the rain and wind and chill in the air with a kinder,gentler Chromatic Aberrations.The sounds tonight will lean more towards the ambient side of things….but don’t get all shocked if things turn ugly here and there….this is Texas after all.

Just about 2 years ago a brand new noise label “Pigdurt Productions” decided to put out a mammoth 3 disc compilation as it’s first release.It was titled “Music To Fuck To” and contained four hours of “music” on 3 discs titled “Foreplay”,”Orgasm”,and “Afterglow”. This release may have been the fledgling labels undoing because soon after this,and despite a few more releases…the label owner simply vanished.To this day on forums dedicated to noise his whereabouts is pondered.Tonight we will hear the whole thing from end to end,as I have never listened to this beast in one sitting,this will be an opportunity to absorb it it one shot.There are veteran artists and newcomers alike here.From HNW to just plain weirdo noise this thing runs the gamut..so grab a partner and tune in…for tonight we F*CK!
