John Hell vs. Ron Donovan
Mr.’s Hell and Donovan have the largest collection of live “underground” music west of East Rutherford, New Jersey. Every June and December they go mano-a-mano in a heated throw down of EPIC proportions!
Next Monday, December 16, 2013, from 6-12AM (PST), John and Ron host Rock Fight 11!
This time around our hosts will feature one artist each for 30 minutes. Kiss, Nugent, ZZ Top, The Who, Hendrix, and more. Also, live in-studio guests including Steffan Chirazi (editor of “So What”, the official Metallica fanzine), and KISSER, the all-female Kiss cover band!!! And too many more to list here!
You do not want to miss this show!
November 11, 3pm
At least for two hours tonight, between 8-10PM.
It’s time for my annual trip back in time, 40 years! Tonight it’s all about 1973. The birth of so many great bands: KISS, Television, Quiet Riot, Queen, Cheap Trick, The Tubes, and of course, Stray Dog. Who could ever forget Stray Dog?
I’ll be pulling out some classic, rarely heard tunes from this year, from artists that may have long left your vernacular.
Tune in 8-10PM tonight!!!

Comic Outpost TV – Why We’re Different
July 9, 3pm
It only happen once every six months. And when it does, babies hide their children, drunks hide there malt liquor, men cry into their beer. I can only be talking about one thing: ROCK FIGHT!
It’s that time again, ladies and gentlemen, when rock poster artist Rotten Ron Donovan and Radio DJ Stalwart, John Hell get together and lay down the massive pipe that is ROCK FIGHT!!!
Ron and I have what amounts to be the largest combined collection of live bootlegs anywhere this side of analog hill (unseen on Google Maps). Every six months in December and June we get together to see who’s is bigger and badder.
Every track below is followed by the date/location and who chose the track; JH for me, and RD for Ron. As you’ll see, I’ve clearly got him beat, 2-1. He was also more than an hour late, which is why the first chunk of music is from me.
Not only is the music full of top notch performances and excellent recording quality, but the smack talk between music blocks sets a new standard (high or low, you decide).
There’s an interview with Limbomaniac’s frontman/bassist, Butthouse in the fifth hour, too.
Get ready for some prime time, low down, face-to-face, bootleg MAYHEM!!!
IT’S ROCK FIGHT 10 BABY!!!!
Enjoy.

Reagan and Thatcher, a conservative love affair forged in hell, and to hell is where they have been reunited; and it never felt sooooo good.
Tonight on A Season in Hell, with John Hell, I invite Steffan Chirazi, the editor of the official Metallica Fanzine, “So What”, to pay “homage” to Ronnie and Maggie. The proud Brit that Steff is, he’ll taking on the role of Mrs. Thatcher, while I tackle Ronnie from all sides.
Why did the punk scene hate them both so much? How did their policies incite, and add to the creativity of the punk scene in the UK and US in the 1980s?
All of these questions are sure to be answered 8-10 tonight, on Radio Valencia.
We’ll pay tribute to the late Slayer guitarist, Jeff Hanneman, who died last week of liver failure. Steff has stories to share, and we both have our favorite Slayer tracks to play for you.

I do love to get nasty in your earholes.
Tonight on A Season in Hell with John Hell, I welcome Kalri$$ian to the studio.
Remember those hauntingly handsome gents that used to live up above you in your apartment building? You know, the ones that used to stomp on you, have late night parties, bum your cigarettes, flirt incessantly with your girlfriends, and keep you up at all hours with the headboards banging?
Well, KALRI$$IAN is back with their new album STAR MAGIC, and ready to put their junk in your ear holes once again! Come witness the group that has taken the Bay Area by storm with their potent mix of lounge and funk fueled Hip-hop, sexy stage choreography, explosive visuals, and hilarious lyrical content.
Witness the group that Dirt Nasty and Mickey Avalon call “perfectly offensive” and the SF Bay Guardian refers to as an “overwhelming marriage of sound and visuals…. reminiscent of Too Short and Parliament Funkadelic.” Feel the dripping charisma that has been father to over 2500 cases of rare STDs in San Francisco alone! It is this beautiful uniqueness that has brought KALRI$$IAN to the forefront of the Bay’s music scene and drawn them to perform with many of the Bay’s leading musical trailblazers on the biggest of stages. KALRI$$IAN’s time is now. Giddy up!
