Malderor – Songs You (Probably) Didn’t Know Were Covers
Monday, May 9
1am
This week we’re doing “songs you probably didn’t know were covers!” For instance, did you know that Laura Branigan’s 1982 smash “Gloria” was a cover of an Italian pop hit by Umberto Tozzi? I’m sure you were aware that Soft Cell’s biggest hit was a cover of a Northern Soul classic, but do you know what Smiths b-side became a UK top 40 hit for Bryan Ferry? This one will get musically nerdy, but I did WAY more ‘prep’ than normal. Definitely give this one a listen!
