Malderor – Repeated Songs And Telephone Problems
Monday, July 20
7pm
It was sweltering in the Mission, and Malderor decided to do a weird, difficult-to-describe theme. Since the show is almost entirely new music on a normal week, there are literally thousands of songs that Malderor played once on his show, then relegated to the dustbin of history. So this week he’s playing stuff he played once, then filed away and forgot about. Features a surprising amount of covers, and some bands that went on to go multi-platinum.
Oh, and some fine individual unplugged the phone from the already-delicate phone-system, so Malderor’s attempts to contact the outside world met with frustration and failure.
