Tommi Avicolli Mecca, chair of San Francisco’s LGBT Aging Policy Task Force and friend of the show, joins Pirate Jenny to talk about the housing needs unique to queer seniors. Tommi, who is also the Counseling Coodrinator for the Housing Rights Committee, discusses how the New Tech-fueled onslaught of evictions is affecting LGBT seniors, , and why Monday’s hearing on queer senior housing concerns is so desperately needed.
