A Weekly Dive Into John Hell's Live Bootleg Library
John Hell's Live Bootleg Bonanza - Monday 6-8PM Pacific - Neil Young November 6, 1976
May 17, 2021 6:00pm
Do I play you something from deep within my vault, or throw you something that is fresh off the presses? How about both?!?!?
If you're a fan of Neil Young, then you really do need to spend some time over at his Archive. It's more incredible than any fanboy or fangirl can imagine. He's starting to release more and more right now, since he has all of this extra time on his hands. Really, Neil has been busy.
This is the freshest release from his live archive: November 6, 1976 from Balch Fieldhouse, University of Colorado. The first half is Neil acoustic and solo. The second half is with his great backup band, Crazy Horse. This soundboard recording will seriously knock you for a loop.
This show runs one hour 36 minutes, which gives me a little bit of time to throw something else in for the balance of the show. You'll just have to tune in to find out what that is.
Stick around 8-10pm Pacific, Monday night for my weekly music mix Hell's Kitchen Radio. I always have something new to share.
Enjoy.
