Wax! Crackle! Pop! Show #20: Risen Ink or Doin’ time for our sins, it’s Jesus.
Monday, April 21

This year on 4.20, aka Easter, we get high on Jesus. There’s no preaching but there’s plenty of Gospel and other sonic favorites here exploring the man, the prophet, the chosen one. From crucifixion to resurrection, it’s all about Jesus.

A couple of CORRECTIONS! First off, I’ll keep practicing GETH-SA-MUH-NEE so the next time I play it, it’ll sound natural. I guess I need to watch JCS. Secondly, the Wheedle’s Groove cover of Jesus Christ Pose is actually from a group called Wheedle’s Groove! And the name of the record is Kearny Barton. I said on-air that KB was the singer when in actuality, HE is a Seattle producer & engineer. Wheedle’s Groove is a band formed after said documentary came out in 2009.
Excuse these mistakes and others! Thanks for listening.
