The Mercury Retrograde Turkey Leftovers Show
This is a re-do (how Mercury Retrograde!) of the "Turkey Leftovers" show, recorded in a small town just south of Rome, on a Thursday after Thanksgiving.

This show features songs that were "leftover" from the past three or four shows - that is, they didn't quite make the cut in the final moment - - and so, now they have been hanging out in the fridge getting stale, so we (Radio Bob and I) decide to pull them out and give them some air play before they grow green hairy legs and walk away.

So yeah, here it is - the "Turkey Leftovers" show, in full Mercury Retrograde glory, (the first two attempts at this show were fraught with technical difficulties and scheduling/travel snafus) features songs leftover from the Egypt show, "Walk like and Egyptian", "Horse with No Name" and a few numbers that the Grateful Dead played at their show at the Giza pyramids in '78. (sorry, Paul)

Also a couple numbers from the Poss tribute show, "Don't be Cruel" and Sonny and Cher's, "I Got you, babe". (my dad and his girlfriend dressed up as Sonny and Cher for Halloween. very cute. (still waiting on those pictures...ah hem!)

Opening the set, a number from the Traveling Songs show, "King of the Road", and, let's see...I think that's about it. oh wait, also, "Ticket to Ride", also leftover from the Traveling Songs Show.

ok, hear it for yourself. rock along. it's good times with those Love and Peace Mercury Retrograde Turkey Leftovers Show! yum yum YUM!
